The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce held a Groundbreaking ceremony for Legends at SFA. on May 5, 2011. The housing project is at 1411 North St., on and behind the locally well-known Hayter House/La Hacienda/Fairchild's.

Legends at SFA is located in Nacogdoches, Texas and adjacent to Stephen F. Austin State University. The 549 bed project is currently under development and is scheduled to open in August 2012.
