LUFKIN, TX (November 14, 2022): Get in the holiday spirit with the Angelina Arts Alliance! From Christmas Eve in Mexico to a classic film screening to the Peanuts gang taking the stage, there’s no better place to get in the holiday spirit. Take part in a joyous celebration of Spanish heritage and culture as the esteemed Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles and Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuélla present traditions and customs that people in Mexico indulge in during the Christmas season. Featuring an all-star cast of musicians and dancers, this spectacular show focuses on Nochebuena (Christmas Eve), where Mexican families attend midnight mass before re-turning home to a late-night feast that includes delicious food, drink, and lots of music! It is sure to be a feast for the senses!

Don’t miss seeing this holiday classic on the big screen! Singers Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) join sister act Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont. There, they run into Gen. Waverly (Dean Jagger), the boys' commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties; his quaint country inn is failing. So, what is the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle: a fun-filled musical extravaganza that's sure to put Waverly and his business in the black!

Produced by Gershwin Entertainment, A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage is a fresh take on the timeless classic that gives the audience a completely new way of experiencing the storyline as portrayed by real actors who maintain the integrity and spirit of each Peanuts character. This Emmy and Peabody award-winning story by Charles M. Schulz has been a long-standing tradition, warming the hearts of millions of fans since it first aired on television over 50 years ago.

Now, the live onstage adaptation of the classic animated special brings all your favorite characters to life-all set to the unforgettable sounds of the Vince Guaraldi musical score. A Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage encompasses each of your favorite scenes from the original animated show. It even expands the storyline into greater detail with more fun, more music, more finding the true Christmas spirit. This Peanuts Experience also includes an intermission and, after the final bow, the show crescendos into a celebration of song as the audience is invited to join the Peanuts gang in singing Christmas favorites.

So, join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang in their journey to uncover the true meaning of Christmas.
