Golfers of all skill levels are invited to enter the 24th Annual Blueberry Golf Bash slated for Friday, Oct. 8 at Piney Woods Country Club.
“We welcome everyone to enjoy a day of fun competition and casual business networking in a nice outdoor setting,” said golf bash Chairman Ralph Ervin. “Plus, the Nacogdoches Count Chamber is looking for sponsors and volunteers who can participate in the event and promote their businesses. The Blueberry Golf Bash is a tradition for some and a great way for new folks in the area to get to know their neighbors.”
This year’s tournament will offer staggered tee times, a four-man scramble format, raffle, a meal and goodie bags for each golfer. Prizes will be awarded the longest drive and closest to the hole contest winners as well as the top teams.
“Winning teams will always have bragging rights for the year on top of cash prizes, but everyone receives the benefit of connecting with people at the bash. What a unique way to visit with others and attract new clients to your business!” Ervin said.
Piney Woods Country Club is going through major renovations in the clubhouse and on the course, and PWCC Chief of Operations Austin DeWitt is ready to show off the improvements.
“Get ready to see the new facility in the making from the ballroom to the locker rooms,” DeWitt said. “With the impressive course upgrades included, we are creating a place for golfers and families to spend time and experience the unique recreation we can offer in any season.”
