Nacogdoches County Chamber board of directors enthusiastically accepted a $9,409.71 check and thanked Angela Wiederhold with Point A Media during a meeting on Jan. 26, 2021. The funds were raised from the production of the 2021 Nacogdoches Guide & Chamber Directory and County & City Street Map.
"We appreciate those who build awareness of their products and services by advertising in the publications," Wiederhold said. "The 'network Nacogdoches' theme is prominent in the new design and fits the role the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce plays in the community. The guide and map and the web site, www.Nacogdoches.org, all work together to achieve the Chamber’s mission: to create an environment where business can succeed.”
Examples of programs that will benefit from the funds include business and leadership development programs, workforce development and campaigns that promote local businesses.
“All of the Chamber’s resources are designed to strengthen and support our business community,” said Ted Smith, State Farm Agent and chairman of the Chamber board. “I’m encouraging my clients and my fellow business owners to use the printed and online information for their continued success and prosperity.”
The Nacogdoches guide and street map are available at the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce at 2516 North St. There is no charge and the members of the community are invited to pick up their copies of the publications. Businesses may request additional copies to display in their lobbies, front counters and break rooms for patrons and employees to take and use. Please call 936-560-5533 for more information and to submit requests for publication pick up or deliveries.
