2020 Texas Professional Women's Conference Event Countdown

The 2020 Texas Professional Women’s Conference is a safe, affordable and flexible way to connect with fellow businesswomen across Texas! The virtual event starts at 9 a.m. on Oct. 22. The $25 registration fee provides access to presentations from seven dynamic speakers, a virtual networking event, and recordings of the presentations available after the event.

Speakers include:

• Dale Smith Thomas. Keynote speaker Dale Smith Thomas is a personal development expert and the president of Winners By Choice, Inc

. • Susan Combs. Susan Combs was the first woman Texas Agriculture commissioner and is the current Chair of the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission. She will be facilitating a conversation about leadership with PWC attendees.

• Erica Davis. Erica Davis is the Chief of Staff for the Harris County Precinct One Constable’s Office. She is a public servant that focuses on building bridges between law enforcement and the community and will be speaking on building a culture of diversity and inclusion.

• Dr. Stevie Dawn. Dr. Stevie Dawn, CEO of Stevie Dawn Inspires, brings a variety of experience from the corporate, non-profit and governmental sectors. Her presentation is entitled The 3 C’s of Communication: Clarity, Confidence and Courage.

• Natasha Garrett. Natasha Garrett is the CEO of G&G Enterprises Construction Corp and has been a Southeast Texas resident for more than 15 years. She will be speaking with conference attendees about the power of trusted advisors in professional development.

• Dr. Belinda George. Dr. Belinda George is a veteran and has been an educator for 16 years. She is currently the principal of Homer Drive Elementary in Beaumont, TX. Her presentation is titled When You Aren’t Dealt the Right Cards in Life.

• Carrie A. Hurt. Carrie A. Hurt is the CEO of Better Business Bureau Serving the Heart of Texas, a Texas State University Distinguished Alumna and recent University of Texas graduate. She will use her experience as an Austin Business Journal and Austin Chamber of Commerce Best CEO to present Unleash Your Potential – Grow, Change, Lead.

The virtual nature of the conference allows attendees to participate from home. Customizable tracks create opportunities to select your preferred sessions, and recordings of the presentations offer the flexibility to watch whenever your personal schedule allows.
