Chamber addresses issues in the 86th Texas Legislative Session
The Nacogdoches Chamber was involved with several legislative issues during the recent Texas legislative session. Some of the issues include:
SB/1938- Construction of transmission facilities. Chamber position: Support. Status: Passed.
HB/2- This bill would amend several chapters of the Tax Code regarding general property tax provisions. Chamber position: Opposed. Status: Passed as revised.
HB.2439- Restrictions on the adoption of municipal ordinances. Chamber position: signed petition.
