The 32nd Watercolor East Texas juried exhibition will open with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 30, in The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House in downtown Nacogdoches.
This year’s juror is Ann Bell, a full-time professional artist for more than 30 years. Bell, who is a member of the Visual Arts Alliance and Women in the Visual and Literary Arts, has a studio in Houston and teaches a business of art class that covers websites, pricing, publicity and marketing art.
Bell has taught watercolor for more than 20 years, and she has demonstrated painting techniques for a number of Houston area associations, including Conroe Art League, Livingston Art Association, North West Art League, Pasadena Art League, Southwest Artisans Society and Sugar Land Art League. Her work can be found in private collections throughout the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Malaysia.
Some WET exhibition paintings will be priced for sale. The exhibition runs through Aug. 27.
