(Nacogdoches) The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites the public to a presentation from special guest, Kim Herman, Recruitment and Retention Specialist for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children, who will talk about her group of superhero volunteers. She’ll also teach children that they don’t need a cape or superhero powers to make a positive difference in their community.”We are fortunate to have a speaker come tell us of an organization helping and improving lives of people right here in our town,” says Dawn Radnitzer, children’s librarian. The program will conclude with superhero crafts. The program, for ages 12 years and younger, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30th at 4:00 p.m. at the Judy B. McDonald Public Library. No registration is necessary. The next children’s program will be Superhero Training Camp on July 7th.
