LUFKIN, TX. Imagine Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins together. The year is 1956, when a twist of fate brings these legendary icons to the Sun Records storefront in Memphis, for the first and only time, to create the greatest rock ‘n’ roll jam session in history. That is exactly what happens in this blockbuster Broadway production coming to Lufkin for two performances in April. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will have a “whole lotta shakin’ going on” at the Temple Theater on the Angelina College campus Tuesday April 21 and Wednesday April 22, starting at 7:30 pm.
