The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites the SFA and Nacogdoches community to a very important OMA Town Hall Meeting. The meeting will be a discussion the importance of coming together to become a community of one to support each another.
State Rep. Courtney Allen Curtis will serve as the event's keynote speaker. Curtis represents St. Louis North County District 73, which includes Ferguson in the Missouri House of Representatives. As a native and current resident of Ferguson, Missouri, he has has been a vocal and vital figure during the unrest over the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 in the Baker Pattillo Student Center Twilight Ballroom.
