Sen. Robert Nichols, Rep. Travis Clardy to speak at Texas Tribune event at SFA
Please join The Texas Tribune for lunch and a conversation with state Sen. Robert Nichols and state Rep. Travis Clardy from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the Twilight Ballroom of the Baker Pattillo Student Center. Texas Tribune CEO and Editor-in-Chief Evan Smith will moderate this preview of the 84th Legislative Session and audience Q&A.

Nichols, R-Jacksonville, has represented District 3 in the Texas Senate since 2007. He serves as the chair of the Transportation Committee, as the vice-chair of the Intergovernmental Relations Committee, and as a member of the Finance, Health and Human Services, State Affairs, and Natural Resources committees.
Clardy, R-Nacogdoches, has represented District 11 in the Texas House since 2013. He serves as a member of the Higher Education, Local and Consent Calendars, Redistricting, and Special Purpose Districts committees.
