Kid Fish 2014 was a huge success! Thanks to Texas Parks and Wildlife, the pond at Lakeside Park was stocked with 740 Rainbow Trout. Kids got the opportunity to fish for prizes and could even take home a few trout of their own. The awards were split up into two age groups and were given to who caught the largest trout, smallest trout and heaviest five fish stringer. The winners of Kid Fish 2014 are as follows:
Ages 1-8
Heaviest Stringer – Buddy Worsham
Largest Trout– Buddy Worsham
Smallest Trout– Hudson Hoffman
Ages 9-16
Heaviest Stringer – Lane Parrish
Largest Trout – Lane Parrish
Smallest Trout– Jayden Chapman
