Teens and tweens are invited to come to the Judy B. McDonald Public Library on Saturday, February 8th at 1:00pm to make papercraft flowers that will be distributed to local nursing homes for Valentine’s Day. The workshop is open to ages 10-17 who want to learn a craft and spread some love. These bouquets will not wilt and will brighten the day of some exceptional people in the community. “The Friends of the Library already visits these nursing homes with our bookmobile program,” says Crystal Hicks, assistant library director. “But we would like to make a special delivery for this Valentine’s Day.” Please register in advance to hold a space by calling the Library at 936-559-2970.
