Point A Media President Angela Wiederhold presented Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce board members with a royalty check of more than $9,000 during the director’s January meeting. The firm publishes the chamber’s Official Nacogdoches Guide & Chamber Directory and the Nacogdoches City/County Street Map. Point A Media updates the chamber’s web site, nacogdoches.org, so that the chamber presents a consistent image to the public.
“Our team is honored to work with the chamber of commerce to promote living, learning and working in Nacogdoches. The 2014 theme is a bright refresh designed to get members noticed, and the colorful graphics celebrate our town's designation as The Garden Capital of Texas,” said Dana Britton, Point A Media. “Plus, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Brookshire Brothers, an all-new TexasBlueberryFestival.com is coming soon!"
The chamber uses the funds to operate its welcome center, mail information to newcomers and other programs.
“These essential reference materials are well designed, helpful and handy for visitors, newcomers and long time Nacogdoches residents,” said 2013-14 chamber chair Rayanne DuChane. “Products like these, paired with effective programs and a dedicated staff and volunteer force, further the chamber’s mission to be ‘Champions for Success.’”
The 2014 Nacogdoches guide and street map are available at the Nacogdoches County Chamber, 2516 North St., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
