Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce and the Pineywoods Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) cohosted the Chamber's Friday Luncheon presented by Express Employment Professionals.
Marilyn Hartsook, Executive Director at Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas, spoke on the topic - 2014 Employment Outlook for Nacogdoches and Lufkin. The luncheon was from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, at Quality Inn & Suites - 3400 South St.
Hartsook oversees workforce and subsidized child care services in the 12 county, deep east Texas area. She will speak about current industry and workforce trends at the local level and overall, and the importance of education and business involvement in the development of the workforce.
