PE/Dance night gives TJR students and parents activities and information for healthy lifestyle

NACOGDOCHES — A PE/Dance Night for Thomas J. Rusk Academy of Fine Arts for students and their families focuses on having fun while staying fit and learning to be healthier.
The April 11 event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. offers activities focused on general wellbeing, organizations focused on healthy lifestyles and good-for-you snacks.
Among those on hand to talk about healthy living will be Healthy Nac, Dr. Luquette, Nac Endurance and others.
Those who attend could win one of these prizes to be given away through out the event:
• Bikes with helmets,
• Playground balls ,
• Hula Hoops ,
• Twister
• Soccer balls,
• Basketballs ,
• Footballs,
• Bowling passes
• A soccer ball signed by NHS girls
• Registration for Fall Soccer with NYSA
• Tickets to the Houston Dynamos.
