Lunch is $16 and attendee RSVPs are required by Thursday, Jan. 24. All attending may enter the $50 drawing, and all Chamber members are entered in a $250 drawing, but you must be present to win. Both drawings sponsored by First Bank & Trust East Texas.
“The non-profit business exhibits will be open before the event begins at noon and again from 1 to 2 p.m. for anyone to browse,” said luncheon program chair Dr. Adam Peck, SFASU. “The event with exhibits is an opportunity to meet the people who serve Nacogdoches citizens every day and learn their missions and activities.”
All non-profit Chamber members are invited to participate with free exhibit space at the event. The exhibit registration deadline is Jan. 18. Click here for more information and the registration form.
“Our non-profit organizations are a valuable part of our community,” said Chair Angela Wiederhold, Point A Media. “These organizations and individuals give of their heart, time and talent to make Nacogdoches a better place by providing assistance and help for people in our community with specific needs. At the luncheon the chamber members as well as the public will get the opportunity to recognize and thank ‘our home town heroes’ for all that they do.
“I encourage everyone to visit the various organizations exhibits. Ask questions and learn more about what they do. Our chamber theme is ‘Our People Are Our Greatest Strength’ and this chamber event will provide everyone with an opportunity to discover how the people leading our non- profits provide strength, courage and resources that benefit our community,” Wiederhold said.
