What to expect for workers and workplace

Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce and the Pineywoods Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) invite all to Fourth Second Friday Luncheon - 2013 Employment Outlook for Nacogdoches and Lufkin presented by Marilyn Hartsook, Planning and Operations Director at Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas. The luncheon is Friday, Dec. 14, from noon to 1 p.m. at Hotel Fredonia Banita Ballroom.

Hartsook assists the executive director with the planning and oversight of contracted operations for workforce centers and subsidized child care in the 12 county, deep east Texas area. She is also a grant writer, labor market researcher and analyst, contract manager, performance analyst and special projects manager.

Lunch is $16, and the deadline for reservations is Dec. 13.

All attendees will be entered in a $50 cash drawing, and every Chamber member is entered in a $250 drawing, but you must be present to win. Both drawings are sponsored by First Bank & Trust East Texas.
