This committee monitors state, local and federal issues that are important to Chamber members and the community. They host Nacogdoches/SFA Day in Austin and the Lone Star Legislative Summit in Nacogdoches, and communicate with elected and appointed officials about issues of immediate and future concern.
The Nacogdoches County Chamber believes it is important for business people to be aware of state and national issues that affect free enterprise. We monitor state issues through our membership in the Texas Association of Business (TAB) and national issues through our membership in the US Chamber of Commerce.
We are, however, completely independent of these organizations and do not necessarily endorse their positions. The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce is an independent nonprofit organization.
