Wednesday Market, July 8, from NOON to 5 PM 

#1 Louis Duffield will be selling fresh this-year frozen peaches, blueberry plants and blackberry plants.  He will also have blackberry, blueberry & plum jelly and strawberry & plum jams. #2 Eric & Lindsay Skillern will be returning with organic green beans, corn, figs, okra, onions and cherry tomatoes..

#3 Nikki Cumby (Grandma's Best) will be at the market this Wednesday.  She specializes in fried pies in a variety of flavors which include apple, apricot, peach, cherry, pineapple, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, lemon, buttermilk, pecan and sweet potato. What makes her fried pies different from others is in the fruit pies, she also use dried fruit. The size of her pies are much larger than the average pie.  She also makes homemade cookies, brownies, sweet breads, pies, cakes and old fashion tea cakes.  For special orders call 903-216-7438

#4 Cheryl Ivie-Harper from Maydelle Country will be selling fruit wines. Their wines are made in small batches and bottled one at a time with the attitude of "If it ain't fun, it ain't right." Their wine list consists of Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Elderberry, Blackberry, Peach, a Pear/Apricot blend (Texas Sunset), pineapple and others that will be rotated by stock.  Their phone number is: 903-795-3915

Wynn and Pam Havard won't be at the Wednesday market this week (They will be back at the Wednesday market in next week on July 15).  They sell blueberry syrup, mayhaw, muscadine, blueberry and pepper jelly, mahaw cookies and jelly rolls. In November they planted 100 trees and are looking to expanding this year.  Until their trees are producing, all of their mayhaw and muscadine jelly is made from fruit that grows wild. Their blueberry jelly is made from blueberries grown on their son's blueberry farm. 

 #5 & 6 The Jones family from Texadus Family Farm in Timpson will be selling baked goods, brewed coffee & tea, spice blends, herbal teas, granolas, and LOW SUGAR jellies (blackberry, muscadine and apple). They will have their hand crafted goat's milk soap made from their own goat's milk available (They milk the goats!).  Come by and smell them and ask questions. #7 & 8 Lori Crawford will be selling green beans (green & yellow), beets, broccoli, cilantro, cucumbers, greens (collards, kale, mustard, Swiss chard & turnip), lettuce (butter crunch & green leaf), okra (green & red), onions (green & yellow), English peas, peppers (hot banana, sweet banana, Bell, jalapeno & poblano), new potatoes, radishes, goat soap, squash (yellow & zucchini), tomatoes (green & red) and turnips. 

#9 Opal Blume will be selling beeswax, local honey, creamed honey and rosemary.    

#10 George Millard will be selling fresh unshelled pinto beans, corn, maybe cucumbers, eggplants, garlic, okra, onions (purple & yellow), fresh unshelled purple hull peas, frozen peas (cream, brown Crowder & purple hull), peppers (banana, Bell & jalapeno), new potatoes, strawberry preserves, tomatillos and tomatoes (cherry, green & red).

#11 Fred Wharton will be back with organic produce.  Fred Wharton will be back with organic produce.  He will have cantaloupes, cucumbers, kale, okra, tomatoes (cherry & red) and watermelons.

#12 Dillon Brown from Center will be back with fresh peaches and plums. 

#13 Bryan Butler sells Grassfed Lowline Angus Beef Steak Strips, Steak Patties and Ground Beef.  

 

 

Diane Jones will be back.  She sells green beans, cantaloupes, cucumbers, okra, onions, new potatoes, squash (yellow, green zucchini & yellow zucchini), tomatoes (red & green) and watermelons.  Diane sells for the Marvin George Farm.

Bellebrook Farms will be back this Wednesday.  They sell 90% lean organic Belgian Blue Beef: ground beef (90% & 98 % lean), steaks, brisket, roasts and cheese balls. If anyone needs meat before then please come by their office at 2639 Canyon St. (just off Old Tyler Rd) to pick up anything you need.  
 
Peggie Hobbs won't be at the market this Wednesday (She will be back next week).  She sells aprons, hand-made tote bags and sunbonnets, as well as, crocheted scarves and hats to keep you warm.  She will also be introducing  assorted baby items and kitchen decor items. 

I don't know if Glen Edgar (G C Farm) will be back (They are replanting).   They sell Cherokee Purple Tomatoes, Asian Green Beans, Red & White Potatoes, and Fresh Frozen Sweet Corn.

Gail Riley will be back.  She sells home made bread.  Breads include: Cinnamon Raisin, Cinnamon Swirl, Honey White, Honey Wheat, Garlic Cheese, Garlic Jalapeno Cheese, Garlic Parmesan, Jalapeno Cheese, Sun-dried Tomato, Sun-dried Tomato, Parmesan, Sourdough, Sourdough Jalapeno, Rye, Pumpernickel, Cajun.  Call 24 hours ahead for special orders:

Jacob and Lisa Weems will be selling their "Fine Southern Pickles" and unshelled peas (Cream & purple hull).  Homemade, old-fashioned sweet pickles grown and canned in Nacogdoches.

George Partain will be returning with cantaloupes, cucumbers, okra, onions, shelled purple hull peas, Bell peppers, new potatoes, squash (patti pan & yellow), tomatoes (green & red) and watermelons.
