The Judy B. McDonald Public Library offers several technology classes in May. Tech Talk will be held May 1^st at 4:00 p.m. The class is suited for those who have questions about operating their tech devices from smart phones, to laptops to tablets. Microsoft Word will be offered May 4^th at 3:00 p.m. and is an introduction to word processing. Microsoft Excel Parts I and II will be offered May 12^th and 14^th at 5:30 p.m. Students will learn how to write formulas, sort data and use the special features in Excel. Social Media takes place May 18^th at 3:00 p.m. This class teaches students how to make the most of popular social media to connect with friends, family and promote one’s business or organization. The month will conclude with Meet the Computer on May 21^st at 3:00 p.m. All classes are free. Please call the library staff at 559-2970 for registration information.
