The Living History of the Oak Grove Cemetery will take place on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Guides will lead guests to six different individual or family plots. Living history interpreters in period attire will portray the historic characters and give a short talk on their life. Tours start every 15 minutes beginning at 10 a.m., first come, first served. The last tour begins at 1:15 p.m.
Families/individuals featured this year: Mary Shindler, Eugene Harmon Blount, Mary H. Raguet, Father Margil, Bennett & Winnie Spradley & Charles S. Taylor.
Tickets are avaliable during the event at Oak Grove Cemetery on North Lanana Street between Main and Park Streets near downtown Nacogdoches. Each ticket is $10 per person under 10 free.
