NACOGDOCHES – Nacogdoches High School juniors and seniors receive their packets this week to prepare for Project Graduation while the organizers continue to seek prizes and financial support for the event.
With Project Graduation just a little more than three weeks away, June 7, committee members say they are only half way to their goal. Any donation, large or small, is welcomed.
The all-night party is scheduled for graduation night at the Stephen F. Austin Recreation Center from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. One committee member said much like a lock-in, students must check in when they arrive and can only be checked out by a parent.
While there, the students partake in snacks, play games and have the chance to win prizes.
To make a donation, call Project Graduation chair Jennifer Bragg at 936-645-2730 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Donations also may be mailed to the group’s P.O. Box 630823, Nacogdoches, Texas 75963, or call Cindy Perry at 936-558-3495 for items that need to be picked up.
