JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LUFKIN SEPTEMBER VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH AND PAT ON THE BACK
Julianne Greak was awarded the October Volunteer of the Month. Julianne is incredibly organized, and if you ask her to do something, you can expect that it will be done thoroughly and quickly. She is a very active mother of two adorable girls, a devoted wife, and would do anything for her family…not to mention she is an awesome cook! Outside of her daily routine with family and Junior League, she volunteers for coffee time and Vacation Bible School at St. Cyprian's Church. She is a room mom, and is in charge of the Bayou Bash auction display at St. Cyprian's school. Her friends say she genuinely cares about what is going on in other’s lives. She has a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh and will drop what she is doing to listen to a problem. We thank Julianne for her outstanding service and strong commitment to our league and the community.
Leslie Day was recognized as the recipient of the October “Pat on the Back” award. Leslie stepped in for another member...on the spur of the moment. She also went above and beyond her duties as a provisional last year. Congratulations, Leslie!
