Chamber Luncheon - Employee character plays big role in successful business
Posted 06 - 06 - 2011

Dr. Dennis Parker will present his character leadership program “The Way of the Dragon” at Fourth Friday Luncheon, noon to 1 p.m., Friday, June 24 at Hotel Fredonia. He will discuss how the program’s principles may be implemented in business, and the impact employee character development has in making a business better.

Parker, character consultant for NISD, is an accomplished speaker and author. His illustrious career spans three decades of teaching, coaching and administrating athletic programs on the junior high, high school, and college levels.

Since the success of his first book “Coaching to Change Lives” Parker has written nine additional curriculums and provided the foundation for the international character education program “Changing Lives” which is currently being used in more than 2,000 locations in 48 states and four countries.

The information presented is vital for all local businesses, and the luncheon serves as the Chamber’s monthly membership meeting. We urge you to attend and stay on top of what is going on at the Chamber and around town. To register, complete and return the registration form or use the secure “pay online” button located at the top of the page, or call 936-560-5533. Lunch is $16/person and reservations are required by June 23.
