Chamber Chairman Paul Smith III announces Bill Teague, Bill Teague & Associates, as chairman of the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural Total Resource Campaign.
This seven-week revenue generating effort kicks off on Sept.21 with a goal of increasing sponsor participation in chamber programs. The campaign ends Nov. 9. The Total Resource Campaign will create teams of volunteers under the leadership of four vice chairs: Betty Shinn, The Butterfly; Angela Wiederhold, Point A Media; Neil Slaten, Tipton Ford, Inc.; and Matt Rocco, Etech, Inc.
Campaign Vice Chairs recruit volunteers to market sponsorships to chamber events, while also seeking new members for the chamber. Volunteers will assist companies with choosing options best suited to meet the organization’s marketing needs for calendar year 2011.
“The TRC offers excellent exposure for companies both at the chamber’s events and within our signature publications,” Teague said.
Teams are currently forming for the campaign.
“The Total Resource Campaign is a great way for volunteers to meet our area’s top community leaders and business owners while working directly with many of the chamber’s most dedicated leadership,” Smith said, “so call Kelly Daniel, the chamber’s membership and marketing manager, at 560-5533 to take advantage of this great opportunity to get involved.”
All campaign volunteers can look forward to the Kick Off Celebration sponsored by Tipton Ford, Inc. The event is set for 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21 at the SFA Touchdown Club in Homer Bryce Stadium.
