The Power of Email Marketing for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
Build the relationships that are the key to your business success with easy, inexpensive and highly effective email marketing! Explore the basics of what email marketing is, why it works so well and how to use it in your business planning and marketing strategy to achieve special goals.
Workshop is 1 – 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 27 at Hotel Fredonia and is presented by Amy Tinsley, regional development director for Constant Contact, Inc. Workshop will cover:
Email marketing best practices;
Tips and strategies for getting and keeping high quality prospects, customers and members;
Increasing deliverability and open rates and how to avoid spam;
Examples of successful email campaigns.
Who should attend? Information is suitable for all experience levels. Anyone interested in learning more about email marketing should attend. Three B’s at after business hours event:barbecue, bed and breakfast
Harlon and AlfreddieBrooks invite all to Alive After Five on Thursday, July 22. The event will kick off at 5:30 p.m. at Harlon’s Barbecue at the Link, 603 Old Tyler Rd., with food, refreshing beverages and announcements beginning at 6 p.m. Later, guests may mosey over and tour Brooks Cypress House Bed and Breakfast.
“We’ll have gift certificates for both businesses as door prizes,” Manager Christine Crain said. “Dinners at Harlon’s and a night’s stay at the Brooks Cypress House. Winners may want to invite family and friends in for a delicious dinner or a stay at the bed and breakfast, or treat themselves.”
Alive After Five is a casual, come-and-go, after-work event that gives every Chamber member a chance to meet and greet others in business – and pass out those business cards! Everyone attending has a chance to win great door prizes. All Chamber members are entered in the $600 cash drawing, but you must be present to win.
SFA arts celebration at luncheon
Arts Information Director Sylvia Bierschenk, SFA College of Fine Arts, will present “50th Anniversary of the University Series” at Fourth Friday Luncheon, noon - 1 p.m., July 23, in the Hotel Fredonia Banita Ballroom.
“Luncheon guests will get a preview of the guest artists appearing on the University Series’ Season 50 and will learn more about the impact the programming has in our community,” Bierschenk said. “Plus, we’ll award some really nice door prizes.”
