Sign Up for the

Bob Murphey Storytelling Contest!

Anyone who knew Bob Murphey would tell you that he was first and foremost a “storyteller” who spun colorful yarns about his beloved East Texas and East Texans. Now is your chance to honor Bob’s genre and also become a new legend with the “Bob Murphey Storytelling Contest” as part of the Texas Blueberry Festival.

When:  11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

There will be two divisions, Children and Adults, with prizes awarded to winners each classification.  Storytellers can either “re-tell” a Bob Murphey story or come up with an original of their own. You may return this form to the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce or simply complete and bring it with you on the day of the contest.

Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Nacogdoches, Texas
