Special Event: Taste of Summer Market THIS Wednesday!! 3:30-5:00PM

Come cool off as Chef Todd’s new intern, Adison Dolch, and Shandolyn Gerald, intern nutritionist, both of SFA will be serving FREE TASTINGS of Refreshing Melon Berry Gazpacho and Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup. We are thrilled to have SFA’s culinary school, Claudann Jones with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, and our 4-H youth partnering with our market to showcase local food and local talent. Come out to the Nacogdoches Farmers Market at 107 Pearl Street, across from Banita Creek Hall and the police station. This will be booths #4 & 5

The weather is getting hotter and there is some slowing of our produce, but we still have farmers and artisans working hard to bring you FRESH LOCAL produce and more… I know it is tempting to drive on by when you see fewer vendors there, but your support is more valuable than you know. So come on out today, chat with a farmer, enjoy our tastings, cool off in front of our new fans, get a free cup of ice water…

Vendors expected this Wednesday:

Booth 13 Jim Duty will have his GOOD okra.

Booth 11 Fred Wharton is hoping his produce holds out… but he wasn’t sure…

Booth 9 Brown’s Orchard will hopefully be there
