Volunteers to offer assistance to children needing help with reading
Posted 10 - 13 - 2015

For children who need reading assistance, the Judy B. McDonald Public Library reminds parents and caregivers that the library can help. The library has Reading Buddy volunteers available to assist children every Monday from 3:30-4:30 pm and every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Volunteers work with children and their parents or caregivers to assist the children with reading fluency and comprehension. The program is free and no registration is required. Children entering grades 1st through 12th are eligible.
