The Judy B. McDonald Public Library offers two monthly programs for children and teens. Lego® Club meets the third Saturday of each month at 2:30 p.m. The next session will be held on May 16th. The library has thousands of pieces for children and teens to build whatever they can imagine. The program is free and no registration is required.
The public library also offers Minecraft Mania on the first Saturday of each month. Two sessions are offered for children ages 8-11 years. Session I begins at 1:30 p.m. followed by Session II at 2:30 p.m. Children ages 12-17 years may attend Session III at 3:30 p.m. Minecraft is a popular on-line game where participants build a virtual world. Space on the library’s server is limited so registration is required. Please call 559-2970 to register. The next Minecraft Mania will be Saturday, May 2nd.
