Wine Swirl hitting the red brick streets this weekend!

The City of Nacogdoches Main Street program is gearing up for the 3nd annual Wine Swirl! “We are so excited about our 3nd annual Wine Swirl, this year’s event should be bigger and better than last year,” Main Street Director Sarah O’Brien said. Attendees will have the opportunity to “Swirl” around downtown perusing merchandise at 17 retail locations, tasting wine samples from 13 Texas wineries, and sampling delicious fare from 14 Nacogdoches restaurants/caterers. “Our committee has worked hard on the food and wine pairings this year, and I think our attendees will notice the difference.”

The 3nd Annual Swirl brought to you by Liquor Mart is slated for Saturday, February 21st, from 6 to 10 p.m. 600 lucky sponsors, attendees and entertainers will grace the red brick streets Saturday evening. Tickets include wine samples and food pairings at each swirl location, an event wine glass, a badge holder, and a customized Swirl plate. “This is one downtown event that you simply do not want to miss!” O’Brien said. Attendees will be able to pick up their Swirl Packets the evening of the event at City Hall, 202 E. Pilar Street, from 5 to 7 p.m. Attendees must have a ticket to go through packet pick up. SFASU Driving Jacks, courtesy of Memorial Hospital, is on board to give patrons a ride home.
