Two hundred forty participants competed in the annual Jingle Bell Run 5K on Saturday, December 6 in downtown Nacogdoches. The Jingle Bell Run 5K sponsored by R&K Distributors was one of the many events scheduled during the 18th annual Nine Flags Christmas Festival.

The overall top male finisher was Will Young with a time of 00:16:53.7. The overall top female finisher was Kailyn McCollum with a time of 00:22:42.9. Both winners were awarded a brand new bike courtesy of R&K Distributors. Will Young opted to donate his bike to local charity organization Love Inc.
