Volunteer of the Year:
Michelle Briley is named Junior League of Lufkin “Volunteer of the Year”. “Personal Cheerleader”, Queen of Hospitality”… she has so many ‘special’ names from her friends and for anyone who has graciously crossed her beautiful smile. She gives with her heart and has never been seen without a warm and caring smile. Michelle gives whole heartedly in welcoming new people to town all while serving in many capacities in the community. Rookie of the Year:
Kim Ogden is named Junior League of Lufkin “Rookie of the Year”. Kim has a passion for helping others and going above and beyond what is expected. She is a natural born leader who leads with heart. Congratulations Kim on this honor.
Sustainer of the Year:
Bobbi Robinson is named Junior League of Lufkin “Sustainer of the Year”. Bobbi has continued to represent the league even after going sustainer. She continues to support the league’s projects by giving of her time, efforts and encouraging words. Bobbi is very active in her church and other community events. Congratulations Bobbi!

Since its beginning in 1953, the Junior League of Lufkin has supported many local projects and has made a positive impact on countless lives in Lufkin. The vision of our organization’s members is to enhance the lives of children and women in our community. To date, the JLL has donated close to $2 million dollars to Angelina County. The Junior League of Lufkin is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
