25 days of blueberry events start May 21
Everyone is invited to the 25 Days of Blueberry kick off at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 21 at Party'N Things, 3800 North St. in Northview Plaza.
"The 25 Days of Blueberry gives businesses throughout the community a chance to bring the Texas Blueberry Festival to their business locations before the big festival day on June 14," said Grace Handler, festival chair. "This is one of the new additions the festival planning committee created for the festival's silver anniversary."
The 25th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival is presented by Brookshire Brothers and produced by the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce.
"A list of all the 25 days' activities and participating businesses can be found at TexasBlueberryFestival.com," Handler said. "You'll see all kinds of sweet treat offerings, prize drawing entries as well as decorating and crafting events and even a pet costume contest."
