The Junior League of Lufkin presents Big Raffle

The Junior League of Lufkin’s Big RAFFLE is in progress! The League is selling tickets, $5 a piece or 3 for $10 for chances to win several items donated by locally owned businesses. Money raised from the raffle is put to work right here in Angelina County supporting various league projects: namely, the Back to School Bonanza where children are able to come and receive a haircut, immunization update, eye exam, dental exam, and a backpack filled with school supplies to start the year off right!

Prizes for this year’s raffle include:

  • A Browning A5 shotgun donated by Texas State Bank

  • Nike shoes for a year, donated by Peltier Chevrolet Cadillac, City Wide Directories, LLC and Gann Medford Real Estate, INC.

  • a 14KT yellow gold pendant and matching earrings donated by Beard Fine Jewelers, Brookshire Brothers & Polk Oil gift cards valued at $800

  • a Louis Vuitton Eva clutch donated by Jennifer L. Webster, CPA, Rebecca C. Brightwell, PLLC, and TJMAG & CO.

  • a $500 VISA gift card donated by URGENT DOC

  • a Vizio 47” WiFi LED TV donated by Lufkin Memorial Anesthetists

  • an Ipad Mini donated by The Center for Sight

  • a Wii U donated by Haglund Law Firm, P.C.

 Tickets will be sold at various locations in Lufkin not limited to Brookshire Brothers, Downtown Hoedown and Crown Colony Country Club. Winners will be announced at the Lufkin Chamber of Commerce Power Networking Breakfast on May 16, 2014.
