“We are fortunate in this community to have leaders who work together for the good of our citizens," said Dr. Adam Peck, program chair. "I look forward to hearing what they have to say."

In Nacogdoches, Van Horn has practiced general family dentistry for 36 years and counting. He served as Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce President in 1987, on the Board of Directors of Fredonia State Bank and Advisory Board of Bancorp South, and a member and Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission. He is a member of the First Methodist Church in Nacogdoches.

Plunkett served in the Houston Police Department from 1977 to 1998 and retired as sergeant. He managed the Nacogdoches County Exposition Center from 2000 to 2012 and was re-assigned as lake manager to Lake Naconiche. He and wife Amy have been married for 36 years. They have two daughters, Kim Gresham and Stacey Cruz, two son-in-laws, Nathan Gresham and Cord Cruz, and new-to-family granddaughter, Hadley Paige Gresham. Bill is a member of the Fredonia Hill Baptist Church.
