Spring Break activities at library
Posted 02 - 28 - 2014

Spring Break is coming up, and the library is ready with activities for children. “We have plenty of books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles and computers for children to enjoy. The library is a fantastic place for all ages to explore interests. We have such a wide range of books that you’re guaranteed to find something to quench your curiosity” said Dawn Radnitzer, Children’s Librarian. “We have events planned for six days during the week of March 10th-15th while children are out of school for Spring Break.” she continues.

Children’s board games are on Monday, March 10th and Thursday, March 13th at 2:00- 4:00 pm. Our ever-popular Lego club will meet twice during the week. The club is open to all children ages 5- 17 years old and will meet Tuesday, March 11th and Saturday, March 15th at 2:30 – 4:00 pm. Finally, we invite the public to our movie days on Wednesday, March 12th and Friday, March 14th at 2:00pm.

There are also events for tweens and teens.  On Thursday, March 13th at 5:30pm, teens are invited to a murder mystery event.  And on Saturday, March 15th at 1:00pm, there will be a Maker event that will allow participants to explore robotics and do-it-yourself projects.  Registration is required for the tween/teen events as space is limited.  Call the library for questions at 936-559-2970.
