Recycling satellite drop off fully operational and now accepting glass…

The City of Nacogdoches has completed roof repairs at the C.L. Simon Recreation Center and Judy B. McDonald Public Library located at 1112 North Street, enabling the satellite drop off location to return to normal operations.  “We apologize for any inconvenience the temporary solution may have caused over the past two months, but as always safety is one of our top priorities,” said City Engineer Steve Bartlett.

The satellite drop off location also now accepts glass on behalf of C&R Kutt Bottle. C&R Kutt Bottle recycles a variety of glass products and donates all of their proceeds to Habitat for Humanity; they have raised over $15,000 to date and gave new life to over 300 tons of glass. “We are excited to partner with C&R Kutt Bottle, and provide a convenient location for residents to drop off their glass recyclables,” said Bartlett.

Residents can now drop off paper, plastic and glass at the satellite drop off location.  For a complete list of recycling options in Nacogdoches please visit www.keepnacbeautiful.org.  For more information please visit the City’s website www.ci.nacogdoches.tx.us or like “City of Nacogdoches- City Government” on facebook or follows us on twitter at #CityofNac.
