New Chamber publications ready for Operation Thank You!

Operation Thank You! - presented by Austin Bank - kicks off at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22 with a come-and-go breakfast at the Chamber office, 2516 North St. Gold sponsor and breakfast caterer is Olde Towne General Store, Event Chair Grace Handler, Handler Insurance, invite. all Chamber members to attend the breakfast and pick up the new material and to consider volunteering for the event. Chamber garden grows with new look for website, guide, street map



The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce is giving the world a burst of color along with useful information through its official website, Nacogdoches Guide & Chamber Directory and city/county street map.



“Point A Media is honored to work with the team at the chamber of commerce to promote living, learning and working in Nacogdoches. Nacogdoches.org 2014 is a bright refresh designed to get members noticed, and the colorful graphics celebrate our town's designation as The Garden Capital of Texas,” said Dana Britton, Point A Media. “New features include a leaderboard ad position that places web sponsors front and center and a central search bar that helps visitors index the years of news stories and archive data found on the site. Plus, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Brookshire Brothers, an all-new TexasBlueberryFestival.com is coming soon!"



Chamber members will soon receive the vibrant publications during the chamber’s annual Operation Thank You! event, where chamber directors organize teams of volunteers to personally deliver the packets containing the map and guide to as many as possible. Operation Thank You! is presented by Austin Bank and sponsored by Olde Towne General Store.



“These essential reference materials are well designed, helpful and handy for visitors, newcomers and long time Nacogdoches residents,” said 2013-14 chamber chair Rayanne DuChane. “Products like these, paired with effective programs and a dedicated staff and volunteer force, further the chamber’s mission to be ‘Champions for Success.’”



Nacogdoches.org leaderboard sponsors are Nacogdoches Independent School District and Stephen F. Austin State University Office of Marketing Communications. Website high rise sponsors are Doches Credit Union, First Bank & Trust East Texas, Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau, Smith & Partners Financial Services, L.L.C. and Xerographix East Texas, Inc.
