Kent Hutchison of Nacogdoches will keynote the upcoming monthly membership luncheon meeting of the Piney Woods Apartment Association (PWAA) on Thursday, August 8, 2013.
According to Mary Mocniak, association executive, the purpose of the PWAA is to further the education, professionalism and integrity of the multi-housing industry in the Deep East Texas region.
“Through training, community awareness, and involvement, as well as affirmative legislative representation, the PWAA aims at providing quality housing and that includes a quality customer service experience for housing residents,” she said. Adding, “We’re excited to have Kent Hutchison speak to our members about customer service and our role to serve the community.”
Hutchison is a senior partner and consultant with the C.J. Baxter Group, an employee development firm based in Nacogdoches. His topic is titled “Creating Raving Fans: A Revolutionary Approach to Customer Service.”
The PWAA services more than 100 owner members with more than 7,000 units in the multifamily housing industries in eight counties of the Deep East Texas region including Angelina, Nagodoches, San Augustine, Sabine, Shelby, Houston, Trinity and Polk. Membership is open to owners, managers or business professionals in the multi-family housing industry. The PWAA is a member of the Texas Apartment Association and National Apartment Association.
Scheduled for 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on August 8, the luncheon meeting will be held at The Red Barn, located at 7723 North Street. The luncheon is open to PWAA members and the general public, but reservations for lunch are required.
