The Chamber’s Fourth Friday Luncheon sponsored by Suddenlink Communications and Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Bureau will focus on The State of Tourism in East Texas. The meeting is from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, July 26 at Hotel Fredonia. David Teel, president/CEO, Texas Travel Industry Association, will connect the dots of travel being an important economic development tool not only locally, but statewide and nationally. Teel's presentation is “The Travel Industry:  A Pathway to Prosperity for Nacogdoches and the State of Texas”



 




 















Attendees will learn how this important business sector brings new dollars into our economy.



 




  • Is the tourism industry growing in Nacogdoches County and the region?


  • How can my business benefit from increased tourism?


  • What is the total economic impact of tourism in our region?



For almost two decades the Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau has stoked the economic engine of our County by recruiting and serving conventions, tour groups and individual visitors.
