Floral design students use skills to make money for future projects
Posted 04 - 11 - 2013

Buy flowers for a special occasion, a banquet, meeting or any other reason while supporting the Nacogdoches High School floral classes.

The award-winning student designers are using their skills to help raise money for future horticulture projects.

We can do centerpieces, podium arrangements, sympathy arrangements, corsages, boutonnieres, etc.,” said NHS agriculture science and floral design teacher Rachel Valenti. “The money goes back into the horticulture account to buy supplies for the class.”

Customers may select any flower types that fit within their budget. Projects have included 50 table arrangements for a CASA banquet and décor for the 2012 NHS graduation.
