SFA "The Big Event" 2013

The Office of Student Affairs Programs – Leadership and Service would like to invite Chamber members to once again participate in The BIG Event!



This is the fifth year for The BIG Event, and we plan to make it even BIGGER than ever. We are expecting as many as 500 students to participate this year, so we are seeking at least 50-60 projects for them to complete. This year’s event is on Saturday, March 23.



If you’re not familiar with this event, each year, we send students out into the community to complete projects as a way to say “thank you” to the Nacogdoches community for their support of SFA’s students. ANYONE can apply for a project through The BIG Event – individuals, businesses, non-profits, etc. It is not limited by socio-economic status.



Our job request forms are now available – you may either visit www.sfasu.edu/thebigevent to fill out our electronic form (you can find it under “Job Request Forms”), or you may print out the attached form and mail or fax it to our office. We ask that you submit your job request by February 1.



Please share this with anyone who may be interested. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We enjoy our relationship with the Chamber membership, and would love to assist you in any way possible.
