The Entrepreneurship Certification Program is a joint SFA-NEDCO collaboration that is slated to begin in the Fall 2012 semester. The program will be held on the second and fourth Mondays (5:30pm—7pm), from Sept. 10 through Dec. 10, at the SFA Student Center, Room 2.106 (next to Starbucks on the 2nd floor).
The program will offer an overview on important factors to consider when starting your own business. An outline of class dates and topics can be found on the NEDCO website under the Entrepreneur tab.
The 7-session program is open to the public and individuals who complete the program will receive a certificate from NEDCO and SFA (but academic credit will not be awarded). Enrollment is currently under way.
The NEDCO Entrepreneurship Committee (Jason Sobel is Committee Chair) has met several times during the last few months with the other members of the working group (Dr. Buddy Himes, Dr. Todd Brown, Shelley Brophy and Bill King) to develop this program..
To register, call Bill King at NEDCO at (936) 559-1255, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
