The DRIVING JACKS 5K Fun Run is hosted by SFASU Driving Jacks Alumni as a fundraiser benefiting the Driving Jacks Endowment Fund.
Driving Jacks is a FREE service to ANYONE in the city of Nacogdoches so they rely on private donations, fundraisers, and grants to pay for significant expenses such as rental car costs, gas, insurance, and much more. Because of limited funds they cannot always run enough cars to meet their ever-increasing demand. Furthermore, current fundraising sources will eventually be outweighed by the increasing costs of expenses, potentially placing Driving Jacks' future operations in jeopardy.
The Driving Jacks Endowment Fund is an initiative to provide a constant funding source for future generations of Driving Jacks and to secure this life saving program. We want to ensure their service and responsible choice message will continue well into the future. Additionally, free of financial restraints, Driving Jacks can focus on improving efficiency, and proactively assisting the start-up of other safe-ride programs throughout the USA.

All sponsors are invited to attend the race and have a booth at the race day festivities.
All sponsors are invited to provide coupons, advertisements, business flyers, etc. to be placed in each of the runners “goodie bags” that they receive at packet pick-up.
All sponsor names are printed on the back of the flyer/race application.
Hosting Sponsor - $1,000 Cash Contribution
Sponsor will be named as race host.
Name/logo placed prominently on the front of all participant t-shirts (300+ shirts).
Company/organization logo placed on race website as presenting sponsor and host.

Name recognized in all media/promotional material as presenting sponsor.

This organization usually is interested in helping with many details involved in planning a race such as providing volunteers during the race as well as organizing post race activities. This is not a requirement, but is encouraged and appreciated.

Silver Sponsor - $250 Cash Contribution

Bronze Sponsor - $150 Cash or In-Kind Contribution

Water Stop Sponsor (2) – 1 Mile & 2 Mile - $350 Cash Contribution
Name on the back of all participant t-shirts and all race promotional material.
Name on race website as Water Stop sponsor.

Company/organization name or banner (provided by sponsor) will be prominently displayed at the water stops.
Major Food Sponsor – Minimum contribution of 300 servings of food and/or beverages.
Post race activities are a major component of the race. Any businesses that will provide a minimum of 300 servings of food and/or beverages for the race will be recognized as a Gold sponsor with the same opportunities for advertisement.
In-Kind Contributions: There are many components that collectively produce a great race event. Several of these include having door prizes, food, and items for the race packet. Here are some examples of the type of items that can be used for in-kind contributions. Food or beverages, any product, gift certificates, or any promotional item to be placed in the “goodie bag” such as pens, cups, tablets or ball caps. Thank you for your support!
