Complete Compliance Services feature story

Finding an employee who is right for the job is a key to successful business. Finding that person is just the first step in a long list of checks, testing, training and paperwork. It can be a time-consuming process, and could keep a qualified worker from getting to work.

Complete Compliance Services, LLC aims to be the one place where all compliance needs can be met. Co-owners and managers Debra Dailey and Diana Hall opened the business in July 2014 to give a full-service program for companies that require DOT and non-DOT files and other certifications and safety-related testing. Compliance specialist Diane Hord and office manager Rebecca Martin round out the CCS staff. All share the business' vision - keep companies in compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.

Hall and Dailey recognized that employers were spending valuable time sending employees to different locations to be in compliance with local, state and federal mandates. Employees may have to attend training appointments on certain days, then at other times go to physician offices or clinics for screenings and physicals. Dailey said that there are individuals that can be hired to go to the work place for required file maintenance or testing, but scheduling the visit may not be convenient for the business and the fees could be a burden.

"We offer all these services in one day, and that saves businesses money and lessens the stress on the employees," Dailey said. "We are committed to do our part to ensure drug-free and safe environments as well as compliance with all agencies. The licensed onsite drug and alcohol testing software is appropriate for any size business, and we accommodate requests for pool scheduling be it weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually."

CCS offers a monthly file maintenance service to assist companies in monitoring driver's licenses, physicals and other pertinent information. Notices of expirations or suspensions are securely delivered to the employers.

"To our knowledge there is no business north of Liberty County that offers the three services we do," Dailey said. "With the poultry, forestry and oil and gas industries so prevalent in and around Nacogdoches, we find a large need for what we provide. The office is based in Nacogdoches, but we cover eight East Texas counties including Houston, Cherokee, Sabine, San Augustine, Angelina, Rusk and Shelby."

Businesses can also look to CCS for background checks, onsite reasonable suspicion training, first-aid and CPR training and safety classes for certain industries.

According to Dailey, the full list of services now offered by one provider serves as an incentive that could attract more businesses that require DOT, FMCSA and PHSMA to Nacogdoches.
